Firearms cannot ship to a home address — federal law routes them dealer to dealer. You pick which dealer at checkout.

Choose how it reaches you

At checkout, pick your receiving FFL or in-store pickup. Non-firearms ship straight to your door.

Ship to your FFL

Federal law will not let a firearm ship to a home address. Pick a licensed dealer near you at checkout and we ship it to them. You complete the 4473 and background check there. Most dealers charge $25–$50 to receive it.

In-store pickup — no transfer fee

Choose in-store pickup and it stays with us at 430 S Texas 6 in West Houston. No shipping, no second dealer, no transfer fee. Do the paperwork at our counter and take it home.

American Patriot Outdoors, also known as HTX Guns, was founded in Houston, Texas to serve our community with quality firearms, expert advice and exceptional service.

What started as a local gun shop has grown into a trusted nationwide retailer — but we have never lost sight of what matters most: treating every customer like family. Whether you are a first-time buyer or a lifelong collector, we are here to help.

We are a fully licensed FFL dealer with firearms manufacturing and export licences, and we hold a Class 2 SOT — so suppressors and other NFA items are sold and transferred in-house rather than routed through a second dealer.
