Midwest Industries makes handguards, rails and mounts, and their genuine specialism is the platforms everyone else ignores. Free-float M-LOK handguards for the AK, the Mini-14, the Marlin lever guns and the Henry rifles are things very few companies build properly, and MI is usually the answer when someone asks how to put an optic on one.

Their AK products are the standout, because the AK is genuinely difficult to mount optics to — the receiver was not designed for it and most solutions either sit too high or lose zero. MI's side-mount and railed handguard systems solve it without permanent modification. Everything is US-made and their AR handguards are conventional, well-executed and priced accordingly.
