Streamlight is the practical choice in weapon lights — not the most expensive, consistently bright enough, and durable enough that police departments buy them by the crate.

The TLR-1 and TLR-7 are the pistol standards, and the TLR-7 Sub fits the subcompact carry guns that used to have no good light option at all. For a defensive gun, a light is not optional and this is where most people should start.
